complex example (very simple!)

Problem: calculate to how much will amount a loan of $10,000 at the rate of 7.25% over 5 years.

Equation: Rslt = V(1 + p)^a
Let V = 10000, p = 7.25 ÷ 100 (= 0.0725) and a = 5.
1 NEXT         [meaning “enter 1″ and touch “NEXT]
0.0725 +      [meaning “enter 0.0725″ and touch “+]
5 ^               [meaning “enter 5″ and touch “^” (use the scrolling!)]
10000 *      [meaning “enter 10000” and touch “*“]
Rslt = 14190.134
interests:
10000        [meaning “enter 10000” and touch ““] -> $4190.134

Ouch! Banks…   😦
